Yeah I pretty much just figure its always going to rain at least a little on Jefferson weekend. Just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't a big mud hole.

We will be in line thursday night so we can get in first thing friday morning before the madness begins. We stay the whole weekend and were usualy some of the last to leave sunday night. Figure when your paying that much for the sites you might as well make a camping weekend out of it, lol.

Yesterday was an awesome day. Not to hot and not to cold. Not much good stuff. One guy was selling salad shooter rims and half worn tires for $600, and a guy selling older sawblade vette rims for $1000. Another guy was trying to sell a ram air hood, that needed some work for $800. Holy **** some people were crazy. I did get Some sutlass rims, talked the guy done to 65 from 95, and picked up a pair of alloy firebird rims to mount some drags on.

Crappy day for me. Only had one customer, a guy with a 59 Imperial. Drew that car about 15 years ago and I convinced him he needed another drawing of it from the rear.

This was my first time out there as a vendor. Made enough money to cover my expenses and the car I parted out and took out there. Plus I may have sold some parts I have here at home. Sold a lot of 69 camaro parts and 67 chevelle parts out of our stall. Ran into the guy I bought my Mustang from (sold him a deck lid!)

Watched a couple rednecks in the stall next to us get arrested. They were interesting entertainment all weekend.

We were flexible on out prices. It was interesting to see the people that want some thing for nothing. One guy needed a fox body bumper cover, we had one; (in the right color) but when we said $50 he replied "I don't wanna spend that much." That's a big chunk of car for $50.

The only things I bought were two big bars and a gangster lil 25th anniversary key chain. The only thing I even made an offer on was a stock hood that I prolly shoulda haggled more on and bought.

I didnt go this year. It was the first time I missed a fall jefferson. No biggie the last few times, all I saw was lawnmover and other scrap. Not really worth the price to go. Bigbars are good but not worth 20 bucks in fuel and 6 bucks to enter.

I hear yeah on the fools thinking their parts are rare as all hell. Last year a guy wanted sell me a rusted fender for $150. I laughed at him. But did score a BM pro stick for $35 so it wasnt to bad. I guess its the luck of the draw. The only time I go is if I need to get free shipping from CJ pony parts.

It's fun to watch people at the show, and see all the walks of life.
