Picked this up about a week and a half ago. 99 LT, leather, etc.

New parts from PO are: Tires, brakes, battery, water pump, intake gasket, plugs, wires, injectors, catalytic converters, O2 sensors, and some small stuff.

No rust, runs great. Only problems are AC does not blow cold and brake pedal feels soft, no pedal feel till half way down. Don't know if thats normal, maybe just needs new rear shoes and possibly drums or a bleed of the system if there is air in the lines. Otherwise, can't complain for what I got it for!

Enjoy! Sorry for the cell phone pics :)

Congrats. looks good, it will be good in the winter too, try out the 4wd though to make sure the actuator isn't bad cause that's not what you want to happen this winter.

BTW - if you want i have a wrap around bug sheild for the front of that if you want lmk and i'll give it to ya up at oscars.

Oooohhhhh do I remember. You currently are the man to beat.

If Coop still had his FJ Cruiser, I know he'd take the crown.

Haha, this thing seems slower than what I remember my 96 tahoe to be. Should be the same drivetrain, 99 still has the 5.7 vs the 5.3 but it seems really sluggish. Maybe it's just me though!

I just picked up a 99 'Hoe too. I think the lack of brake pedal feel until half way is pretty normal for these trucks. Mine had the brakes done fairly recently and if I hadn't known that I would think they needed to be bled. How's the steering slop? The pitman arm and idler are notorious for wearing out on these, which mine is going to need soon.

Well when you have the Cobra and had your SRT Jeep, I imagine most things feel slower. :goof

like snoblind said, the pedal will feel like that. only way to firm it up is with some stainless lines. not really worth it imo. just check the hardware make sure its all good!

Steering slop is actually pretty good, not much for what it is...
