Planned on moving well out of town when my kids got older but I close on Oct 30th, dead end area with an acre of yard just a few hundred yards south of the zoo, behind Speedway on Greenfeild/894.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=10106+bungalow+pkwy+west+allis+wi&um=1&ie=UTF-8&split=0&gl=us&ei=uEysSvi_BcLZlAfs7vTeBg&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1
The location naturaly has deer, fox, coyote and birds but the neighbors said prepare for odd critters escaping the zoo grounds so I'll have plenty of feeders set up :) Small garage has a good size slab next to it ready to go bigger, neighbors are cool as hell and no 1976 Buicks with 20" wheels and car alarms out front honking. Too much to list on the place, huge new deck, roof, siding, windows ect but the realestate ads look weak.

There's an orange 70 Nova a few houses away, big hood bulge anybody we know?

There are several advantages to the specific area, Im trying hard not to post online, the locations benefits will become clear as you come thru to visit :)

I just noticed how old that Google earth view is, there are still railroad tracks behind the house that are gone, bike path now and thick woods, thought it looked sparce in the pics.

There is like ZERO traffic back there, I know exactly what house you bought as an ex lives right down the road. Killer location, and I didn't know those tracks were up already.

With you leaving, there goes my 'hood :(

The 'hood has moved too close to me now, Im a phone call away as a backup for you anytime buddy!

Tax's are crazy, gonna try and justify them with my sub 2 minute scooter ride to work, no big Buicks on 20s on my street, treelined backyard but close to stores, great neighbors and a few other perks I cant post online :)

You've got no excuse Pork, you know the are and the unfinished bike trail is more than mountain bike ready.

jbiscuit, the garage aint much but the back yard, fire pit, horse shoe pits and huge deck will support 100+ people...no burnouts tho, neighbors would kill me.

Let us fellow residents know when you need help cracking some beers and staring at car shit. Always up for that! All said and done, welcome to the neighborhood. Sounds like a good move for you and your family

My present house up here off 45/Capitol is a 2 to 3 night a week beer drinking spot, sounds like I'll have good company down there in Stallis (not to be confused with Milwaukee!).

Its a burnout free area but the hum off the freeway behind should muffle our vocal happiness while we're out back.

they plow Bungalow first usually...its part of the plow turn arounds...but way at the west end (105?) are some asshats that like to race around just once in a while on bikes..but they usually come down 103 and around..Bungalow is quiet...until they rip out all the houses east for the Zoo I Change enlargement

Bungalow will be a dead end when that happens, the neighbor to the east will be the last house :) I heard that it was like an extra bonus, my truck can plow the whole street for all I care, no thru traffic:)

Technically the area of Greenfield that Ricky Bobby and I live is plotted as West Allis Heights by the city.

Isn't there a website where we can enter our address and it is a map for everyone to see? Forget the name. Not that I'd want to give away my address but it could show the density of BCM'ers in any area. I'm off 90th & Greenfield for those who don't already know :D .

Google map has a tool where you post a map of your area and people can put their location on it. Kind of like a guest book.
