Question: Are dealers able to search other dealer's pre-owned inventory...???

customers can search Palmens Pre-Owned inventory. Why?

Reason I ask is because I'm looking for a low mileage Ford *something* at a dealer to take advantage of the Ford factory extended warranty. However, what I'm looking for is somewhat rare and I don't have time to search the inventory of 2 million dealerships......

if you call up a dealer and tell them what you are looking for, they can attempt to locate one, or find one at the auction for you.

If we dont have one at the dealer, the best we can do is see if one is coming up at the auction. We have no way to search other dealer's used cars. Send me a pm with what you like and I'll do my best to find it.

It depends what it is.

Used: If it's that rare, most dealers would go to an auction for it. That's if you put money down on it and give them some time to locate it. Not all dealers will do this though, you may have to find one that will. Also, if you're going for a late model Ford, you may want to go with a Ford dealership because they have the ability to go to Ford auctions. Plus, they can certify the vehicle, with low interest rates and extended warranties.

Good luck, and when you get this "rare" car, make sure you post it! With pics.

Most major dealerships have the ability for customers to search inventory online.
