Lake Superior fishin'

After a long hard summer of busy car and bike fixin'.....I'm going fishing!!
A friend of mine needs to diagnose a running problem on his 5.0L fishin boat...so I'm in. If you don't hear from me in a while assume I am lost on Lake Superior somewhere north of Ontonogen, MI.

I will post pics of anything we catch! :alcoholic

What a great day to be on the Lake, 75 deg. sunny 5 mph winds...just great!
About 1/4 mile out of the harbor, we throttled the engine up.....and it died! It was cranking funny, like the timing was too far advanced or it was overheating. Neither was the case, however a damp distributor cap was. Dried the cap off with some brake clean, popped it back on and away we went. I caught the only Lake Trout of the day, but hey, we fixed the engine!
