The tree pushed the rim up through the floor board and some how didn't pinch the driver's (my friend) foot off. The car is a total loss. 32k miles, modded 4.6, 4:10 gears.. Used to be a nice car.. lol

Anyone know if WantNotch still looks at this site? lol

It had more then enough power.. Previous owner did a 13.76 with the prior mods.

It's a Jeep, it was made to do it... I've owned multiple Jeeps and they were off road as well... It's not a Luxury SUV, it's a Jeep... If he wanted a luxury suv, he shoulda bought a BMW X3/X5 or Mercedes GL Class/ML Class

What exactly dont you care about?

He appreciates them.. Don't know where that is being questioned.. Be bought a Jeep not to baby it, but to use it. Then, he bought a Mustang to DRIVE it and not pamper it.

He loves both his cars, but they are just cars to him.. Some people in life have other priorities then spending their money on LED altezza's and halos on a beefed up barbie car.

What is the word you're looking for? "Oh yea, he's like a poser for hot rods".. Looks like you found a complete sentence. Where you are phatoming the idea he portrays himself as a hot rodder has me lost. Would that make you a poser for Rice Rockets?

I've had wealthy friends, but never one so young or carefree. If you were paying the bills, I worry when no one is around to take care of that. Some people just don't deal with money matters well. Took me a long time to learn how to keep bills paid on time. I still struggle with it. I can just imagine how I would be if I had trust funds to draw from anytime I wanted to buy some thing. Ja, I hope you can stress to your friend the importance of wise money managing. Nothing wrong with acquiring toys, but they require some responsibility.

Maybe you don't know because he doesn't want to brag about it.

This is a big enough board where you have salary ranges from the very low to the very high, yet honestly this is one of the few threads I have ever seen where someone actually needs to brag about it. Kind of stupid thread if you ask me, where you have people bragging about what OTHER people make :chair: tacky tacky tacky.

Anyways sucks for your buddy, but at least everyone is okay. I also echo airguitar's sentiments. Take it to GLD if you want to go fast in a straight line, or go to a private event at a road coarse or auto-x if you want to turn.
