Does anybody know of a good website that allows you to browse houses for rent? I can easily find search engines specifically for apartments for rent but can't seem to find one for houses. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks!
Deana

I never found one. Easiest to do is to go drive through 'hoods you want to live in.

I tried CL for the last 2 months and had little to no luck. We were looking in the 1000-1200 price range and all we found were pretty crappy with small 1 car garages. We ended up renting a really nice condo in west bend with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a 2.5 car garage for 1080 a month. I would love a yard but it's the best option we found for now.

I'm just trying to find something with at least a 2 bed, 1 bath, allows cats, and has at least a 1 car garage. I still need to be able to have 2 spots outside of the garage as well. I'd prefer a private entrance and my own washer/dryer. So far I found a 2 bd townhouse with a heated 2 car garage. Looks like this may be a possible showing. I'm looking around West Allis, Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Sussex, Hartford, Richfield, etc. I don't want to go to far south or north because of our job locations.

I used to search Craigslist and would search "house" in the apt/housing section. Found quite a few nice ones that way.
