Congrats to Ashley for her first nationals win and to be the first female in funny car to do it. Suck he threw the race but if Cruz beat force in the first place it wouldnt have been an issue.

I dont think team owners should be allowed to race in events. I dont even like it in nascar. Conflict with the events too much

You turn on an F1 race and all you would hear all the darn time was "team orders" this and "team orders" that. This is really no different IMO. He did what was best for the team.

If I had nothing to gain or lose personally from my finishing position and me dumping to another car I owned would put it in the Chase and another car that I didn't own out, you bet your butt I'd want to increase my odds of one of my cars winning the championship.

Was it 100% Ethical? Perhaps not
Illegal? Absolutely not

At the end of the day, this is still a business and I too agree with Kelley that owners racing could possibly a conflict of interest but as of now, its still OK according to the tules.

This isn't the first time (more than once I remember Scott Kalitta torching the tires at the hit when Doug was chasing a championship) nor will it be the last. Pedregon needs to hike up his big girl panties and quit pouting like a bitch. This is drag racing and this is the way it's been for a long time. The big money teams will ALWAYS have an advantage.

I think people forget too, Drag Racing at that level isnt for fun, it isnt a hobby, it is BIG business. There is alot of money flowing through the sport with corporate sponsors, and they want to see their cars in the Winners Circle.

Anyway, I have watched since they started the Countdown shit and since Mike Ashley quit racing.
