Re-doing a retaining wall made of railroad ties, some are ok, some aren't, so I don't want to redo the entire thing with different timber.
I looked at both Menard's and HomeDepot online and didn't see anything? I thought for sure they'd have them.
Any ideas?

rr ties are a massive pain the sack, spend a little extra and get green treated 6x6's, it will look better, you can stain it and will last longer.

Just go to some train tracks and take them. They're free!

Menards should have them in the yard. The one in Johnson Creek always has a mountain of them and the rest should too...If they don't, I can get you some in 2 weeks if you do not come across any by then.
