Greenfield Park is having its annual Doggy Dip tonight from 6:30 - 8. Thought I would mention it for those interested as I usually forget about this and miss it, its a fun event to photograph. Its free entry for people and 5 bucks per dog.

I plan on taking our 2.5 y/o black lab there. Had seen it advertised before somewhere. Should be a good time

damm I wish we had gotten back in time. My dog LOVES swimming. We put her in our inflatable pool and she was paddling like crazy!lol

My dog is afraid of drizzling rain and dew on the grass in the morning, but this event sounds like fun if you have a water-loving dog!

how do you MAKE a living thing like something? it's sort of a cut and dried thing, either you DO or you DONT like it

My lab hated water until she was around another lab out at our friend's lake house. She kept seeing the other dog go in and just followed suit and from then on, we can't keep her out of it. I'd say thats worth a shot if anything.

I might send Dingo out with you sometime, lol. He is petrified of water but I think it is a matter of he just hasn't been around other dogs who actually DO go in the water.

Yeah, Australian Cattle Dog so "Dingo" was just too appropriate. If you head out let me know, I will bring him up to you.
