Wow, I see that the Street Sweeper '57 has a PSI Twin Screw on it now. I wonder if it still has the Kenny Klazura Laugh-O-Matic TH400 X 2 trans in it...

Five forward, three reverse. Two shifters.:durr Get a few beers in you, and start discussing this amongst your gear-head buddies. Then you will understand why it's call a Laugh-O-Matic. :alcoholic:thumbsup

I have know you along time, but.....what has Bob done to you for you to come down on him,for what he has in HIS CAR...he has done nothing but build a car like most people do...he has built it his way and put the twin trans in...big deal.......you may not like it...but tuff shit, it's his car not yours...what makes you the CAR GOD on this site...do we all have to run what we are building past you first to get your great seal of approval...
nobody told you what to do on your mopar or that last car i know you had , the yellow stang that ran ron on the northside...
you always have nothing but negitive about the cars that certain people have...
gee all i had was a 350 in my monte...but it was mine..no one elses...so give Bob slack..i think his car is turning out alright from what i see and from what others have said about it as well...he has has that car since the 80's that i know of
METZ did alot of work on that car...if he thought the twins were wrong for it...maybe he would of said something to BOB...but alas i guess not...and METZ's word carries more weight then yours...
so come back with your wit at me on what i have or have had..it doesn't matter...it is'nt and was not yours so it dont matter ...just like you...
learn to stop picking on others peoples cars and what they do......

You know what Wayne? Your skin is WAYYYY to thin for a public message board. Anything derogatory said about that transmission had almost NOTHING to do with your buddy's car. It had everything to do with that silly transmission and the twin shifters it USED to take to run it. I'll even go you one better. I know Tony Klazura, Kenny's son, personally. I've been to his house, I've met his dad. Nice guy and a mechanical whiz. He got a patent on that transmission and that part is cool, but the trans itself is amusing. EVEN TONY HAS JOKED ABOUT IT! It's long, it's HEAVY, it's overly complicated, and in this day and age of 4, 5, 6 and 7 speed overdrive automatics, it's kind of an anachronism. My opinion, as well as a few others.

Other than calling the car the Street Sweeper, I really don't feel as though I was really picking on your friends car. (By the way, now that I think about it, the guy I originally heard call that car the Street Sweeper happens to have the same last name as the trans builder. How's them apples?) No need to defend your buddies car, it's kind of neat and it has one of the only PSI twin screws I've ever seen on a street car. :shades I think he has a lot of balls to run a full race blower in a street car application. And while I might get a kick out of the trans, especially in light of what options are available today, you're right, it's his car, his money, more power to him.

Oh, one more thing... I also know Metz. He does fantastic work and he's probably one of the smartest guys around for building and setting up a car. If he wasn't, I doubt the Coughlins would've trusted him on their race team. He also charges about $100 dollars an hour plus materials for what he does. Do you really think for that kind of money he's going to criticize a customer's choice of transmission, especially when he knows that the car it's in is primarily a show car? How absurd. I'm quite sure he could care less, as long as the money's green. So don't bring Brian in to this, as you only make yourself look foolish for not thinking that part of your diatribe through. But then again, it wouldn't be the first time...
