my dads 6hp johnson just died up north he wants a 9.9 or something of that nature does not matter how old it is as long as it works great and dependable, want to help my dad our here so lmk what u have plz if anything

What happened to his old one? Repairable? I have an older johnson 6hp that may need parts - think he would sell the old one for parts?

he thought it was the water pump put he fixed that and now it spits and sputters and dies not sure if he had the carb worked but im pretty sure he would sell it for parts considering hes taken awesome care of it just he wants something bigger so hes not really investing to much time into fixing this one
