Dirt Track Test and Tune Pics

It's no secret that dirt track racing is a huge passion of mine. Yeasterday, the vintage race car club that our family belongs to rented out the track in Beaver Dam for a "play day". I wasn't supposed to be in town but plans changed so I ran up there last minute. I figured a nice sunny day shooting race cars was a great chance to try this new Tamron lens I picked up and the VR capabilities. I have to say.. having that much telephoto range (18-270 with IS) in one lens was kind of sweet! I do need a CPL filter though I guess.

Anywho, here are a few I took. My bro even grabbed the camera when it was my turn to go out.

I really miss watching dirt track racing !!!

I wish somebody would bring a track back around here, hales corners was a DUMP but I loved it.

The outlaws are just insane, the skill those drivers have is just unreal. Tops any type of racing IMO that is out there !!!
