About 100 people showed up. I guess people ended up having to park a few blocks away.

I had the 30lbs of crawfish flown in from Louisiana. Man they were good. the quality of these things blew me away. You aren't supposed to boil/eat the ones that die before you cook'em and surprisingly there wasn't a single dead one I could find.

We had over a 100 ears of corn going too. Some damn good stuff as well. My father in law got it from some guy in Burlington.

And of course my favorite game Cups and Rods was awesome.

This is my favorite game in the world. It's called Cups and Rods. It also can go by the name Fricket. I prefer Cups and Rods.

It is a drinking game by default, but the point of it is not to drink. I'll explain the rules.

You can see how the rods are placed. Two next to each other about a frisbee width and a couple inches apart. Like this : : On top of the rods are plain old Solo Cups.

There's two teams of two. Teammates are next to each other. There are two frisbees.

One at a time you an your partner toss the frisbee at the cups and rods to score points.

You get one point for knocking the cup off the rod. You get two points for getting the frisbee to go through the rods without knocking the cups off. If it goes through the rods but knocks a cup off, it is only one point (for the cup).

Here's where the beverage comes in.

You MUST have a beverage of choice (usually alcoholic (kids can have a soda)) in one of your hands.

Because if you catch the cup before it hits the ground, the opposing team does not get the point. Also if the frisbee goes between the rods (for 2 points) and you catch the frisbee before it hits the ground the opposing team does not get the point.

I think that's everything. The whole game costs like $15 to set up. GO PLAY IT.

Good question. Actually I was just talking to my boss and she gave me a good idea. Harold bought me a Turkey Frier for my birfday so I'm thinking the next party...I'm gonna do a shit ton of wings for us! I'll have everyone chip in and then I'll just deep fry like 100 of the MF's!
