Hes a pain in my ass, soo much fun when he is behaving. Momma was a Black Lab, Daddy was a Weimaraner. He is 11 weeks old, 27 lbs. Had him for just over a week now and he is catching onto things real quick. He knows sit, down, paw, crawl, and KINDA knows rollover. Lisa and I have been working with him almost every day, with her working part time and me laid off again we have lots of time :)

Really? We watched one for a weekend and our neighbors have one - seems like, those two anyway, started to howl when they were bored or lonely.

Looks pretty common? Beautiful dogs, though. I'd love to have one.

I know that breed has serious separation anxiety issues and if the howling is when they're alone then I can see it. However, I have never heard one do it in person......

Are you gonna use it for hunting at all? Sounds like the perfect mix, pointing and retreving.

What a cutie. I couldn't love my pup any more than I do... and I'm glad I rescued her - but MAN do I wish I could have watched her grow up.

Maybe yours will like car trips too! This was tonight in the turd

Well with growing up comes growing pains...my pup a few weeks back.

Now what seams like only a few weeks and a few hundred pounds of food later.

Dont let the dopey Masstiff face fool you, these things are like Velosa Raptors when they decide that you will play with them. Like having a spider monkey do aerial assaults over the couch when you least expect it. Her final build wont be much taller I hope:

My dog loves riding in the blazer, he isn't lucky enough to stick his head out the window though. Never will either. Hes a good dog so far, only a few accidents were had and he absolutely loves people / other dogs

dogs are always a pita but you will never beat the companionship they give you. i love my dogs to death and as much as they annoy me from time to time i wouldn't trade them for anything. congrats eric.
