My Camaro replacement...

[BAD LS1]

After much pokes and prods from several members about not posting pics yet, i finally am putting up some pictures of my 2010 Camaro.

I didnt want to make a big deal about getting one as most of you already knew im sure so heres the run down.

2010 Camaro RS/2SS, Inferno Orange Metallic, Cyber Gray rally stripes, Black leather, 6 Speed manual (426hp LS3) and sunroof.

I ordered the car back in the last week of May, it was built 8/5/09 and recieved at the dealer 8/16/09. It is car # 32,825 of total 10" Camaro production.

I promtly took the car out to the dyno Monday night after owning it for 5 hours, with 80 miles on it i did two pulls with it, the first one laying down 390 and 382 and the second 391 and 378... rock stock.

I will have the wife shoot new and better pictures of it soon but here are ones from when i went and saw it last wed after i got back in town from a work trip.

Probably not, i paid extra to get the orange one and besides the top half of an LSX is pretty ugly.

Yes, but not near as far as the 01' went to.

So far i have a Roto-Fab CAI for it sitting in the basement, and a 160 T-stat arriving today. Sometime next week i will put all the parts on it, and tune it at the dyno and see what all that netted it.

End goal is 500 RWHP NA and leave it alone. It will be just a cam and headers away from that power level shortly as several LS3's have made this kinda power with stock heads.

What's the aftermarket like for these things so far? I'm assuming pretty strong. Are there coilovers and stuff like that for it? I'd love to see one of these slammed and on some HRE's. :drool:

I stopped a guy a few weeks ago w/ that same car..

HOWEVER!

He paid extra and had the dealership put on a ground effect kit they offered.. It was kinda dark like the rims and went from the front bumper, along the sides and maybe on the back bumper.. It REALLY added to the look on the side of the car..

I suggest you look into it because it made a bad ass looking car MUCH better looking!

Here is what I am talking about.. This picture doesn't do it justice.. Just imagine the dark color of the ground effects, with the dark stripes on the hood, WITH the dark gray rims.. BAD ASS IMO..

Lol there is nothing even close to trying to compare to the 01' lol. I still love 4th gens but this 5th gen is a car someone can live with everyday w little to no regrets.

The orange color is almost a tangerine and just pops in the sun, its impossible not to notice it, this color is much lighter than the Sunset Orange used on 01-02's.

Yes and 3 stage like red jewel tintcoat on the TBSS so it has depth and a pearl type look.

That looks awesome. They have an orange one at the dealership in Mukwonago but it has these matching seats that I don't really like. No stripe also. They even have a 5k markup and then there is a sign that says "Make offer". Idiots :D

Been DD'ing it for 2 weeks now and will do some except in winter of course.
Getting about 22mpg on avg so gar and the car seat fits perfect in the middle of the back seat in rear facing.
