Bought wife a 07 Odyssey van with Michelin PAX tires. Changed tires wheels over to standard steel wheels and now have TPMS error issue.

One dealer refused to sync sensors, other wants $150 to do same. Can soemone do this for me or is this a Honda dealer only deal? Hate the idea of resyncing sensors if I go back to PAX tires.

Can someone do this locally or on the side? Not looking for a freebie.

Appreciate any feedback.

Jeff:

Thanks for quick reply. We need to head down to GLD before year is over, maybe after Labor Day. I want to run mine in some cool air and see what happens.

Heard nothing but horror stories about the whole Honda/Michelin PAX setup. Good luck.

Michelin horror story and Honda in collusion.

PAX runflats are 17.5" wheel. ANyone who sells Michelin has been threatened by Michelin to NOT put anything on other the the PAX runflats if that is what it came with or else. Ironically, Honda offers the choice of Pax of non pax in 08-09 vehicles. :durr

I guess I need to wait for someone to sell a 17.5" tire in the U.S.:stare

Another oddball size tire from Michelin? Didn't they learn from the TRX failure from the late 70s / early 80s?

The runflat technology sounds great, but why not mount it to a standard size wheel?
