In celebration of Papa John's Camaro coming home with our help, Papa John's will give a free large one-topping pizza to any Camaro owner who visits a store on Wednesday, August 26th. Full details below. You lucky mullet-mobile owners.

According to the Papa John's corporate office, any Camaro owner who drives to their nearest Papa John's restaurant will get a large one-topping pizza for free. This only applies tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26th, and there is a limit of one pizza per Camaro and one Camaro per visit.

I think it was a pretty cool promo too and really neat that he found the car. To find it in good shape, let alone turned into a 1/4 track whore :) , is almost amazing to me. Chances are that it became wrecked or turned into beater status/parted out/rusted we're at least as good as it being well cared for over 25 years.

still doesnt explain why the original had a sunroof and the new one doesnt.. I would think someone took the time to swap vin tags before they took the time to weld in and seal up the sunroof.

Swapping a roof isn't that big of a deal, so I hear. And it wasn't a nice factory moon roof but a cheapo aftermarket one which probably leaked...the owner very well didn't like the look either and since it was a 9 second drag car, wanted it as tight as possible.
