last tank of fuel in the VW after i reworked the AFC (pre boost fueling) and babied the car most the tank. i got 1,172km/h the trip odometer rolled over! (728mi) to 13 gallons of fuel = 56mpg :) and the car is still idled off the fuel screw (pump maxed out):goof

How fast do you think it would run the 1/4 the way its tuned now? Just curious, is it fun to drive, or does that milage go all to hell when you start getting on it?

Thats awesome! I miss my Geo, didn't have it long, but the best I ever got with it was 44mpg. And that was beating the living piss out of it. Gas was around $1.45ish.

it goes pretty good not stupid fast but if you spool it up it leaves rubber into 2nd. if i literally drive it, and i mean not easy i get 40-45mpg. and its fun to drive because the thing is so small but yet handles really frickin good!

ya... thats exactly why i did that turn down. that was right after i did it, i was sick of opening the hatch n have my hands black. oh like the un burnt fuel mark on the ground?:thumbsup

still dont see whats not getting done?? my truck which is waiting on the machine shop to finish R&D on my head. my sled which the rails and bumper are at hytec getting powdercoating. erics sled we tore down last night after the scortcher. the SS is done drove it all weekend.. sams samuri is waiting on the rear end bearings which he forgot to order in the first place. JJs truck is waiting on 3 month back ordered parts.... The huntin' camper well thats rinks... need to know anything else??:rolf:goof

hes putting a dana 60 out of a ford in it. the spring perches to resume the factory four link is back ordered. he wants "lock outs" due to the dodge front ends being continuously "live" and eats everything up. an axle and perches is almost 1g cheaper then the $2200 in parts to repair the factory one:wooo and the lock out conversion is 2400 :durr
