saw this on another forum, what i wouldn't give for this.
First a little teaser video:

Unless someone has been hiding one, this appears to be the first twin turbo 2008 to hit the streets with full control over all the new stuff Dodge added to it.
Next stop for the car is the Texas Mile in Oct (along with a few "friends").
Car is a 2008 Viper, which features some nice updates from Dodge. I am not going to try to go point by point on what they changed, but some nice improvements to the heads/intake manifold, added variable cam phasing ("cam in cam" using their terminology, remember this is still one cam in the block "V"), dual DBW throttles (plastic bodied stock, those were the first thing to go :) ).
Underground Racing did the build, including fully built stroker engine (but retaining stock VVT cam and suprisingly minor headwork compared to older generation Vipers), UGR twin turbo kit (a work of art, it is a shame it tucks up out of site underneath). Hats off to the guys there, they never cease to impress me with the quality of their builds and this one was no different. It sure makes my job of wiring/tuning a TON easier!
Now the nerdy stuff! I put a MoTeC M800 in there to run the show. The show includes the 10 OEM coils, 10 ID1000cc injectors, dual DBW throttles (new polished ones), VVT, gear based boost control, MoTeC SKM knock control (individual cylinder control) and other small details I am sure I am forgetting at this point.
It did right at 1000whp at 11psi on a muggy Carolina day on pump gas, and spun the street tires to 1300+ at 19psi on race gas (with a fair amount of boost still to go). It drives really nice, better than previous generation Vipers and all tuned up it is a very docile car around town (feels just like it did stock).
Congrats to the owner, one of my favorite Vipers yet! And congrats to UGR for another kick ass build. You guys make cranking out quality builds look easy!
