If someone I care about doesn't respond to calls/texts/emails for 48 hours, it's time to drive to their relatives' houses and talk to the police, not have sex with random people and write crazy emails.

Surprised he didn't find an internet cafe to check his email.. :/ I'd say leave the phone off in Europe.
