i saw that too. with that trans "problem" sounds to me like its just the skip-shift. no problem there.

So it's only got 1st and 4th? I can live with that. I drove a 54 Chevy with only 2nd gear working on a three speed.

its definitely doable. they came with skip-shift. it only allowed you to go from 1st to 4th and locked out the other gears to get a better epa rating. its just annoying and most people get the skip-shift eliminator

Skip shift is only activated when a number of set values were met. Something like 18-30 mph under 20% throttle or something like that. That only locked you out of 2nd and 3rd i thought. When i first got my camaro i didn't really ever see it since i was always in the gas, lol. Shortly after that i disabled it because it was a pita driving around town.

I doubt its a skip shift problem.

sounds pretty ironic to me that it only lets you use 1st and 4th and a "reset" fixes it. sounds like an electrical problem related to the skip shift that can easily be fixed by just deleting it.
