Now what?

He's the baddest motherfvcker on the PLANET!
I hope Roy Jr. was in attendance like he said he would be.

I never want to hear 'Silva vs. GSP' again. The ONLY person in ALL of MMA @ 205 or lighter who could possible beat him would be Machida. And that will NEVER happen.

He would KILL GSP.

I dont know of many if any Silva haters out there and I agree he is a badass! I did think this fight was going to be lopsided and probably only took place so that Silva could have a fight and Griffin would never turn down a fight no matter who it was against.

I agree Silva is amazing. But I'd love to see Silva vs. GSP. I'm probably in the minority that GSP would put up a good fight but it's my opinion.

All I got to say is WTF happened there. I always thought to myself there is no way Silva is that badass, but all I got to say was damn. Arms down and stick and move, WOW.
He made Forest look like a joke.

After seeing the fight tonight....

I'm 100% confident that AS would KO GSP in the 1st round.

I also wanted to see a gsp vs silva fight but I second gsp getting ko'd after watching this.
Machida I say maybe make it into the second round before getting embarrassed.

I said maybe.

Forest was definitely not himself tonight.

Silva is awesome but with the ghey way the judges score for takedowns, GSP might be able to pull off a win.

Forrest was scared and fought like he was just a toy and Anderson was the pit bull. He looked like the old Roy tonight. Too funny.

I don't think GSP would be able to take down the MUCH larger Silva. Silva could have an EASY 30-35# advantage.... not to mention the height/reach.

I love how the Philly crowd boo'd the shit out of him before the fight and then went nuts for him after. Philly fans suck.

That was hard to watch. Silva was untouchable!

Supposedly Forest had his jaw broke by one of the first two punches landed and that is why he just laid out after the last one and ran out of the ring for medical attention.

Anderson is unbelievable.

Anderson is unbelievable.

It was dislocated. It also caused him to lose hearing in the ear on that side.

WOW! that takes some nuts to stay in the ring and not throw in the towel.

He kinda did throw in the towel. The third time AS knocked him down he layed on his back and put his arms up in the air as if to say 'no more'.

I wonder when forrest will say something about the fight?

Forrest is a pretty straight to the point guy, he'll probably admit it was embarrassing and joke about it somehow or another.

I think the best part of the night was when Kurt Pellegrino bitch slapped Josh Neer. Kurt said that Josh was talking shit the whole fight and when he had Josh on his back Josh said "you hit like a bitch". So Kurt stood up and slapped him and said "now you just got slapped like one".

Joe Rogans reaction was funny as shit.

Amazing skills shown by silva but WTF happened to forrest???? I mean really....puts his hands up like dont beat me anymore when he is known for taking HUGE abuse and then running out of the cage....he lost alot of fans that night I think.

Edit- Actually read the posts...hmm me and my guys all said I bet he realizes what a donk he was by running into the locker room and will say his jaw got broke....I guess i just figured forrest for such a hardass that he would at least point to his jaw so the crowd would have some idea what happened b4 running off. IDK...all I know is silva made him look silly with that bobbin and weavin.

"He wasn’t injured. He’s an emotional guy and he just didn’t feel like sticking around. He’s done that before. After the Jardine fight, they kind of surrounded him a little bit, but he said a couple of things into the mic and left the cage pretty quickly. Just the emotions of…here is a guy who is very confident that he could win this fight and he just never had a chance to get off. He’s an emotional creature, so he left the cage. It wasn’t really a big deal. I think people are making a bigger deal about it then it really is. It wasn’t anything left to see anyway. Anderson had beaten him and it wasn’t like it was going to a decision. We already knew what happened, so he decided to go into the back and get his tape off and get changed and everything else. I think he was kind of comforting us more than anything else because we were all down and bothered and you know, that’s that."

"He’s okay. You know, obviously he’s upset by the loss and the way that it happened because it was in a way that he feels embarrassed by. It’s weighing on him a little bit, but he will be fine. He’ll come back. Sometimes his biggest asset is his heart and it can be his biggest downfall. In that fight, when he got hit with that first right hook, his mindset was, “Okay, let’s scrap!” It should have been clear your head, change your angles and try a different approach."
