Been waiting for about a week for it. The game Aion is releasing on Sep. 22 and Im excited. Beta events for the game so far have been excellent. So I decided to up the ante with a new card. :) Size of a box of lucky charms? :thumbsup

nice card. I was happy with my 8800GTS 512 OC'd I got last year. So I can't even wonder how that must perform.

What else you got in your box? I use a Q6600, 780i MoBo, and 8 gigs of memory (vista 64)

Its an upgrade to a 9800gtx. Loved the 9800 by the way. Only reason I havent gone sli is well for one the 285's are still a little too pricey to grab up 2 at the moment and im already not a fan of how hot these big cards get. Sli basically just makes you get a tad better performance and essentially just makes your cards work at a pampered load. I like making my cards sweat :shades BFg tech lifetime warrenty is great for that :) But one day yeah id still like to try an sli setup. Anyone running sli???

As for my pc specs Neal they are bout the same as yours.

Its amazing what you can build now a days for under a grand. 1g builds you a pc that rips soo hard. Cant wait for a few years when i7 builds are cheap :thumbsup

Whyyy do people have to overlay clips with their own fucking music... I want to hear what the fuck is going on in the game, the sound fx, the ambience, etc., not some out of place techno hyper mega mix that has nothing to do with the game.

I am running a pair of 8800GTs (flashed to 9800GTs) in SLI in my sons rig. Fast as all getout. He has a dual-core 3.25GHz AMD box with 4gigs of massively overclocked ram.

My main rig is a AMD 780a mobo with a Quad-core Athlon Phenom 9950be @ 3.0GHz along with a single 280GTX, again fast as hell. I will be upgrading to a Phenom II 940 and overjuicing that to about 3.5GHz for a while... Might also add in 2 more 280GTXs for 3-way SLI action.

Once fall gets here I'll get back into PCs... Still in "car-mode" so extra cash goes towards those until they have to go away for the winter...

Only thing that i do not like about Aion is gamegaurd comes with it(To prevent hackers blah blah) I can't play it(nor can i play gunbound anymore tried awhile ago) Game wont run for me due to gamegaurd..sucks :/

Gamegaurd is nasty. It tends to block drives for mice/keyboard.. Some people cant run if they have Certain anti-virus along with few other programs.. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=921812&page=3

I feel your pain sir. But in all honesty the best way to get around gameguard is before you play a game with it you must disable every startup process to make sure your antivirus software isnt working. I have had horrible run ins with gameguard and found that just deleting junk virus programs like norton was the only way to go.

And 98Ta I would love to see a pic of your setup once you go 3way sli. You will be able to scramble eggs on your case :thumbsup
