Did Big 3 build it by chance??

Looks like a nice excuse for an upgrade.

would be a nice excuse if it wasn't the second time in 7 months.

No big 3 I am in New Orleans former Milwaukee resident.

Yeah I would like to bore it out and do a 363ci..
Think I could make 450whp with a 363ci?

I built a nice 347 with a kit from C&S. They did the short block for me so I knew it was done properly. I didn't have enough experience to know all the secrets. I had them port and polish the heads and match to the intake too. Well worth the money, and to hit that 450 mark I think you should for sure.

I know a guy that had a 355 LT1 built that made 496RWHP with a nominal tune

Didnt you just buy a new 347 with the Boss block? Is that it?

Looks like somebody reused junk stock lifters?

I got great heads and cam.
Made 338rwhp and 373tq on a mustang dyno.
On the dyno jet it was like 350rwhp and 420tq

Sell it, sel it all, you have had nothing but problems before you sold the car in the first place and nothing but problems with it after you bought it back....That car is cursed.

isnt it normal for a 347 to use oil? I thought the design of the wristpin causes oil to slip past the rings :confused

Internet myth. If built correctly by a competant machinist it will burn no more oil than any other engine. It used to be an issue years ago, but not anymore.
