So on monday I dropped a valve in the camaro . I know a few of you on here have taken engines out of Fbody's what way do you take them out. Out the top or drop it out the bottom? I have researched on both ways, Im just curious how you have done it.
Thanks,
Jason

Out the top, you don't have to re-bleed the entire brakes that way.

Oh no bleeding the brakes.
Drop it like it's hot.

Out the top. If you're real good you can even leave the T56 attached to the motor and STILL get it out the top.

Yep, got it out the top, hood still on, with the 4L60e still attached to it on the '98 Camaro. But it was just the shortblock since I wanted to see the damage, haha.. SO much easier.

Happy hooker is a necessity for pulling it out the top...
Done at least 25+ motors that way...
A/C system stays charged, PS stays intact, brakes are not touched, hell you can even leave the radiator in.
