2.0L
42R
33psi

The motor is just being broken in on the dyno and then its being transplanted into a tube chassis Subaru drag car so ignore the crazy front mount etc....just temporary.

Once broken in and fully tuned it should make close to 850whp :stare

Pretty cool! Those numbers are actually really good for such a "low" boost level. That thing must rev out pretty good.

Very sweet! Those are pretty nice numbers for only 33psi, granted it was on VP Import which does help things out a bit as for the ability to run higher ignition timing, and leaner AFR's.

Any knowledge as to the compression of the motor or the torque output it is doing?

It also looked like the rear BOV was leaking just before he got out of the pull, unless that was blowby from the catch can or valve cover.

I would also guess that they will be running a liquid-to-air intercooler in the tube-frame car.

Depending on weight, they should be able to get into the 8's decently once they get some track time on it.

condensation from the BOV right after the pull and yea I would guess some blowby from the catch can as it might be a vented can?? That run netted like 745 torque. Not sure on details of the engine as its pretty hush at the moment until they run some ETs with it. The engine is slated to go into the tube chassis car next week after some final break-in. Its going into a tube chassis 2002 Subaru WRX that on the old motor went 9.10s. This go around its a totally different build, turbo etc.

Basically this is just big news out of a small displacement motor for the Subaru junkies. NOBODY was getting this kind of power out of a 2.0L prior. Strokers, cosworth motors etc sure...
