thinking of taking a drive down and making a few passes if i can figure out if my car is safe to run (has bad opti) but thats another story see my post in the tech section...anywho anyone else thinkin of goin down?

well ended up going and wished i had some nittos cuz my 60fts blew. tried idleing out and even that didnt work. MPH was good tho considering that i still have my cats on and my opti is bad.

Car went
13.1@110 2.3 60ft
13.7@109 2.6 60ft (car bogged then downshifted)
13.4@109 2.4 60ft
13.4@108 2.4 60ft

consider the car ran a best of 14.3@97 with the stock motor with similar 60fts im happy. 1.2 sec and 13 mph aint bad from a motor that aint at its max yet . I think with a 1.6 60ft and a new opti i can hit my goal of 11.999 but only time will tell

was good to see you again WhiteZCamaro and pantera i saw the car but i think everytime you were in the lanes i wasnt and visa versa. car moves out tho

Traction sucked, but I expected that. My car is being a woman and having issues, my best time was a whopping 14.5@95mph. Need to get it scanned.....

With those trap speeds and a sticky track, you've gotta be running deep in the 12's. You should come down to Byron sometime and see if you like it.

Did you see the white ZR1? No idea what he had done but he was trapping at 127mph.

I saw some of the Beeyond cars, the pink one broke but the silver one and the beat up blue one were both running around 12flat if I remember correctly.

And I don't know if you saw the Taurus' that were there, with the grilles duct taped and the moron with the HUGE dual mufflers.

your gains in trap speeds are impressive! I am sure once you optimize gearing and deal with the traction issues to get those 60ft times down some, you can really get those ET's down considerably. Again, nice times with the mild build up! :thumbsup

Yeah I don't feel too bad even though I got crap for traction, My best last night was 13.716 @ 103.98. Thats two onehundreths off my time last year ,my mph jumped up almost 4mph this year also.

Yeah that ZR1 was fast the last run i saw him do was an 11.40 and that green sho with the 2 gook tubes hanging out looked pretty ghey.

Yeah he was looking at my car and revving at me in the staging lanes which was a first for me. So I rolled my window down and just stared at him but he wouldnt look back. Dumbass.

after the 127 pass tho that zr1 sounded like it was over when he got baclk to the pits. MY guess for that car was heads intake cams and spray....maybe even a 368 stroker. there was a green 368 car at the mfba rental last running similar times
