Pistol shipping, CT to Milw FFL

So Im gonna have my fathers pistol shipped from CT to here in WI, short gun mind you not long gun.

With the wait period and pistols (im in no hurry to pick up) do I need to jump thru any extra hoops as far as the arranging shipping from that FFL or this one?

I want to make it as easy as I can for the person who is completeing my dads estate items and dont want to make there job harder than it is (what with non family members grabbing all his shit now that he has passed ).

You need to find a FFL in your area that accepts firearms from non-licensees. That FFL will fax/email a copy to the guy with your dad's gun, and then can ship it to him, UPS or FED-EX only. Then you go to the local FFL guy and do the transfer, waiting 2 days of course.

OR

Have the guy with your dad's gun go to a FFL by him and the FFL can send it to your local FFL. Then do the transfer by your FFL.....
