Sweet. So now you can get all the ponies to the ground? I'd be interested to see a non-traction limited GT500 leave a light!

look great, but I think a CCW mesh wheel would look good also. but Im also biased towards mesh CCW's whereas they look good on almost anything haha

I usually hate after market wheels like those on late model mustangs, but I think those are badass!

Looks good Greg! Maybe drop it a little? Someone should photoshop those wheels black and see what they look like just for curiousity! :thumbsup

Shawn, I think so. I haven't had a chance to "test them" yet, I had to go to a meeting after work last night. There's a LOT of contact patch to work with.
The compound seems very sticky. It's obviously gonna be better than the stock tires. Plus the new rims are quite a bit lighter than the stockers, so that should help also.

I'm expecting some other goodies soon, and they aren't for "show" :devil

Love the Wheels Greg, I just hate the price tag and no chrome. Polished is a bitch to clean and keep clean. Looks good, those are what I want for the vette some day.

I hear you Jeff. They sent me some wax that they said will greatly help in keeping them "clean". Plus they don't have any nooks and crannies so to speak like the stock wheels. I'll manage... :)
As for the price, it is what it is. You can't take it with you. I don't expect I'll see another car like this around either. ;)

polished alum isnt as bad as people make it out to seem. dont use a wheel cleaner EVER and make sure you just use dish soap on them and dry them asap! avoid driving in the rain with them as they could haze from the heat and dirty ground water. Mother's billet polish, microfiber and a powerball/cone is damm near all you would ever need for them. i takes nothing at all to keep them brand new looking once polished properly and waxed. The boyd's on my car are over 8 years old now and when relatively washed they look great! I barely spent 5 minutes on each rim wiht a power cone before the Holz show for the first time in over a year and they gleemed.

I'd love to say I'll be there but I am on moving duty for a friend tomorrow all day. :( I'll see them at the port show though I'm sure :D

What are the actual tire sizes? FWIW, I run Steeda Ultralights (1 inch drop in front, 1.25 in the rear if I remember right) with 18X9 275/40 in front and 18X10 305/45 in the rear without any rubbing issues.

The rear rims are 18x11 with 305/35 Toyo Proxes Drag radials. They hold pretty well. I was getting on it a lot today and the car feels quite a bit faster without all the wheelspin. :shades
It used to spin thru 2nd gear pretty bad. With 3.31 gears and some hook, it really moves on a roll..

Thanks for the info on yours, this was something I was going to ask you about...

Ford made it so you can fit some pretty radical rubber in the rear, that's for sure!! I had some 305/35 Nitto DR's on it for the past couple years and they were pretty useless, especially when it got below 70 degrees. The M/T's with the bigger sidewall and obviously stickier compound hook pretty well though:thumbsup Will have to look at your Toyo's, and will like to hear how they wear, as people have stated I can expect about 3K out of the M/T's, and that gets expensive pretty quick:rolf
