Is 14.1 quarter miles typical of modded Mustang GT's?

Depends on how "modded" you are talking about. I know guys with modded Mustang GTs that run in the 10's. Mine has run low 12's in less then favorable conditions and driving it like a sissy. :goof

BTW welcome. Post up some pics of your car when you get the chance.

No, that car needs a tune to make the most of what he had done, even by adding an aftermarket exhaust it needs some kind of tune

I meant "modded" for what he has. They usually run high 13's stock. Don't they?

welcome to the site. post up some pics! I would think even light mods could use a tune to wake it up a bit. PM Tom aka BadLS1 for tuning tips.

Yes, typically they run a 13.7 through 13.9 at 101 MPH stock. He has added wheel weight by upgrading his rim size to 19" and tire weight by adding the beefier tires. So his rolling mass increased and he hasn't torn into the motor or driveline yet, so he's a little show and a little less go.

All the car needs is an intake, tune, gears and control arms to run low 13s, high 12s.

If you drop the front sway bar, add a one-piece drive shaft, you could hit 12.50s if you get it to hook.

with a good driver and a good launch yes, with the exhaust and a tune he should be in the high 13's if he is an above average driver, unless he has the lower gearing in it

Hey guys. Yea like i said I just recently bought my mustang in march so I still have a lot to play with. I thought I put some pictures up somewhere on here. (my gallery or something? idk)

But yea I haven't touched the engine yet, in fact it's probably slower if anything because of the tires haha.

I'm lookin into what 1320PNY said. Get all that good stuff done.

Having my car EVERYBODY wants to race me and what's funny is it doesnt matter what they are driving. I had a dude nod at me in a minivan and then punched it. Shit is hilarious lol.

Nice color. Wheel choice is great. It would look good with a 9 bar black billet grille and a rear black out panel. Gotta drop it about 2" too!

Thanks guys. And thanks Michelle. I was going to figured it out last night. But ended up going to brothers downtown and playing poker at the casino. Lost of course, some 80 yr old Asian guy ALWAYS had a better hand then everybody no matter what we had lol.

I'll put some more up in a bit. I was actually looking into a black out panel yesterday ha.
