My grandpa will be there in his Grey 1940 Packard. Did anyone hear about the corvettes burning? I heard someone who helps run the event had to vettes burn in a fire a day or so ago.

Yep garage fire in Greenfield or something....heard about it on the HOG. 1 was a 67 roadster.

I heard about the fire, because of all the mutual aid calls I overheard on the radios while at work. I never heard about the Vettes being in the garage. That sucks big time!!!

I just got back from there. Awesome turnout! They actually turned cars away after 11am. I saw (for once) alot of cars I had never seen before! I saw Yoo's and Josepy's car in the front row next to my friends primer '73 Z28 and burgandy '68 Chevelle. I had my RST in the show back in the resturant parking lot. Sucks though that they didn't give out food and drink tickets like they used to. I guess they're getting cheap.

oh yea I forgot about the food N drink tix....Great turnout. Lots of nice cars. Glad Yoo got in! We had a great time. They really need to move cars into the show though. Sitting in line for 30 minutes or more on the street idling sucks. We almost weren't going to make it in this year because of the long wait time :(

Nice to see Yoo and Josepy's cars there. Saw a few of the usual cars, but quite a few cars I haven't seen before. Saw Jim, but he looked rather smothered by other people. Adam's Grandpa asked me if he has to pull a filling station behind the Thunderbird. :goof

Next time you see that, barge in and pull me away! I'll always make time for you, dear!!
BTW I drove the car the rest of the day, down to So. Milw to visit my daughter, through Grant park, took it for a hell run down I-94, etc. and got 8mpg. Just getting ready for Drag Week-Can't complain about the mileage. Love Adams Grandpa's spirit though:thumbsup

turned out to be decent but I think they had alot less cars than before. there were a TON of dealer cars still on the lot and the side lot didnt even have show cars in there. There were some sweet cars though! It was nice to meet ya Jim and thanks again Becky and J for parking tip. Jason ended up walking me through the lot to get a badass parking spot.

I thought the car quality is so-so. Also not as many cars as the past 2 yrs.

Overall, I liked the show. I brought my car to show but didn't register. Being at the far back of the remote lot I still had a constant stream of 15-20 people around my car at most times, especially when I opened the car up. But yes, they could have fit even more cars in there if they moved the remaining sales cars out of the lots.

I was there (without the car). It was nice this year, because it wasn't the same cars you see all the time. Seamed to be mostly 70's-era cars, with very little cars from pre 1960's. I didn't see a single model t.

I don't remember beer being $4 either.
