I really hate the badger pulls. It has made it harder for people to run what they brung. All the safety requirements. But I was mad I missed the one on the 4th. I passed you guys as you left East Troy on my bike. You might have saw me I was behind my dads yellow 70 SS Nova. But truck pulls are the best when stuff is breaking. LOL

we have been running a few "run what you brung" at a few pulls this year. ET was one of them. badger is an association and runs a structured class. a off the street truck more then likely would struggle to be in the top 5 in badger. badger's rules are perfect in my eyes. most of them are due to fast moving parts and the fact some places you stand 10ft off the track no gaurd rail/concrete walls. If its a Badger pull, not a fair/Fire dept put on pull they will not pull a run what u brung because there insurance will not cover it if something happens. Jefferson county fair on the 9th, this thurs, will have a run what u brung but is also a badger pull.

far from it. i have 3 friends who pull in badger, none of which are close to rich. it's just like any other sport. sponsors and dedication make you sucessful. i have been going to badger pulls for like 6 years now and love them.

I don't know a thing about the 'world' of tractor pulling but sure love to watch any chance I get. We had planned on going up to Tomah a couple weeks ago but couldn’t make it due to my father had to work......

you missed out...def plan to go next year. I've gone every year since I moved to Wis and there is nothing like seeing the biggest and baddest out there pulling the sled...when a semi drones out the sound of a blown alcohol 2wd truck as it goes screamin by its a life changing event :thumbsup

run what you brung - just that! there is no rules and no bitching! LOL from experience sometimes they DO want the exhaust to go either up or down.

requiring the exhaust to go up or down is the dumbest thign ive ever herd.... does anyone honestly beleive that if a turbo thats spinning 100,000+ RPM comes apart that the peices are going to follow the .030" walled exhaust system all they way out and be projected into the stands?? get real!

considering most off the street truck have an MBRP stainless exhaust. and yes I have seen impeller parts come out the exhaust before, last year at helenville, a tractor let a turbo go and parts flew into the air about 30ft. people running everywhere.

I thought the reason for the exhaust was for measuring. The smoke sometimes blocks the laser too much. I could be wrong but that is what i was told. Do you still have to run threaded rod through the exhaust in a cross?
