Wow... I didn't know what to expect, but goddamn these things are good.

Being a shroom n' swiss expert, I got the Mushroom n' Swiss one, without mayo (whothefuck puts mayo on a mushroom swiss?)

Easily better than any fast food place, and better than some restaurants. I've had them everywhere.
It wasn't dried out, and it wasn't soaked in grease. Nice n' salty & peppery.

:thumbsup

They also have the angus deluxe (just pickles/tomatoes/onions, etc.)
and the angus bacon cheeseburger.

Wow, that mushroom and swiss does sound good. Still, it's from McDonalds. Even without all the grease and whatnot, it'll still find a way to mess with my system like only McD's food can.

And yeah, WTF with the mayo?

only took more than a year to get here from California LOL. We ate these in between In N Out burgers.

My g/f loves the mushroom swiss too.

Price?

Let's just say it's not on the $1 menu... IIRC, the sandwich alone is somewhere on the $4 menu.

Still not bad for 1/3 lb. burger though. Fuddruckers () charges about a buck more at least.

i like hardees burgers, and these sound pretty similar.

i am shocked that there was really no advertising for this?!?!

I might try it, I guess since the beef that Mc Donalds uses is from South Africa we shouldn't have to worry about recalls on the meat.

i had a bacon cheeseburger last week. was pretty good, but i would say that hardees monster burger is still where it is at for angus IMO.

I used to love Culver's shroom & swiss, but now it is very garlicy and very greasy! I know they use butter, but damn... Only had like 4 mushrooms on it too. They are slackin.

Culver's in general has been slackin' as of the past few years ever since they have gone 'big time'. I almost forced myself to try the McD's burger last night but couldn't muster up the courage, I went to Wendy's instead......:durr

I agree, their chili is good

^ Culver's chili is better.

I tried the Bacon Cheese Angus Burger tonight based on the commentary from this thread. I'm going to try one at a different McD's because the Waterford one sucks ass in general, but so far it's like an over priced QP with cheese and a few extras. Slightly better pickles (3 ), a couple of rings of red onion, 2/3rds of a slice of bacon (Gee, could they spare it?) and a bigger patty of what tasted like the same old shitty mystery meat they usually serve, doesn't impress me for $4.00 I'd rather eat a Night Owl bacon cheeseburger that was dropped and dragged on the floor and left in the sun for two hours.

You guys that think this POS is good need to stop eating at McDonald's for a while. Give your taste buds a break for about 6 months while eating at places that have GOOD burgers and then come back and eat one of McDonald's ground ass patties. Ugh... :puke

I agree with Hitman - I tried one yesterday and thought it was pretty lousy. Very skimpy on the side ingredients. The patty itself was very dry and slightly overcooked, and they had salted the hell out of it. Overall, I thought it was not even as good as a regular quarter pounder...

I got one last weekend on the way up north. Mine had probably 3-4 strips of bacon on it. I'd try it some where else. Mine was a little salty but overall i thought it was pretty damn good coming from Mcd's.

I thought the salt/pepper was good. Almost like little pockets of salt here and there. My burgers have always been juicy. There is also an aftertaste of onion / garlic ?

The chicken club is $4, and well worth it. Pure white meat, no fat/stringy pieces, so effin good.
