They made a few 09's...you can find them if you look. Generally sold in fairweather states...I don't know if any were shipped to the WI area.

Myself, I'd just buy a regular 2WD ram w/ 3.90's (as opposed to the R/T's 4.10's), go with my own suspension mods and wheels/tires combo...probably save 5G doing that too, lol.

Friend of mine just bought a 09 Ram Quad Cab Big Horn edition truck. Easily the nicest truck I've ever driven. I just hope the quality is there. Cause his 04 Ram was one of the biggest POS I've ever seen.

whats ironic is, the ram you pictured, and the picture of your ram both have the same ride height, yet one is 4x4 and one isnt :D

What is it going to have for an engine/transmission/rear axle?

I drove the new Bighorn and the new FX4. The ford was much more refined, but cost $42000 buy for $38000. The dodge has a lot of nice features and drove very nice and had loads of power and was $27700.

Still question the Dodge as my last Dodge (05 2500 crew) was re-purchased from me by Modine MGF after a mfg defect.

Dollar for dollar, I would buy the Dodge.

From an Enterprise rental location of course, right stew?

What is it going to have for an engine/transmission/rear axle?390hp/408ft-lbs 5.7 Hemi, 5 speed auto, 9 1/4 corporate rear w/ 4.10 sure-grip rear diff.

MT already got one in their hands....0-60 5.7, seconds, 1/4=14.3

But basically, it's just a 2wd reg cab truck w/ a nice interior though...which isn't too bad considering it's basically just that. Probably could optimize a better package for the strip with different interior/wheels/etc.

Not 100% certain though, but I do think you can get this in 4wd, since it's mostly just a trim/wheel package.

The new ram headlights look like the new mustang head lights.

Same here. My roommate just got a 09 ram bighorn, 4x4 5.7, black with the rambox and the good radio, and I absolutely love the thing. What I can't get over is how awesome it takes big bumps. Going over railroad tracks that my head is damn near hitting the ceiling in my truck were barely felt in his. It's got to be a mid 15 second truck to. My truck will run high 14's and I wasn't pulling on him by much. It's has the basic cloth seats and the bench but for 30 g's, it's an incredible deal. He looked at all three trucks, ford, chevy, and dodge and said it wasn't even worth considering the other trucks and he isn't bias towards any brand, he's owned a vehicle from each of the big 3 and liked them all. We just went to Detroit 2 weekends ago and it got 20.5 mpg starting at our buddy house in dearborn till we got home.

My 3193lb front 2142lb rear (5335lbs total) 6.0L/6speed extended cab standard box Silverado stickered for $39,305. The only thing that could compare for the price was the Dodge but the residual value of a Chrysler product is crap these days.

Anybody know if the new hemi is just as castrated as the old hemi? They might have had 345hp to the crankshaft but all that ever made it to the road was 260hp.
