Looking for MTB suspension fork, any preference's?

So I need a new suspension fork. The kids over at local wheel and sprocket are no help at all. So what doe everyone use and what wouldn't you use? It is going on this bike. It may be old but I have had it for 10 years and many miles and adventures so want to keep it going. Thanks for the input.
