looking for a 590

anyone know of any local stores that carry 590A1's? that dont want a ton of money? shooters shop quoted me $500 for a $400 shotgun. looking for the #51517 18.5" barrel, 6 shot , ghost ring sights.

I wouldn't call that a straw buy... I plan on buying my dad a shotgun for Christmas... it's not like he said "I'm a felon and can't own a gun but my buddy is gonna buy it for me."

EDIT: My dad can legally own a gun!

EDIT AGAIN: There's a guy on 62nd and North that does FFL transfers on long guns for $20, and he did my AR lower from Gunbroker.

To the OP, if you are interested in an 870 PM me. If you have your heart set on the 590, it's a good gun to. Get the metal safety and you will have replaced the single part that breaks in 90% of all Mossy's, and really their only weakness.

If it's a gift you are still legally considered the buyer by the feds, so you can answer the 1st 4473 question the correct way legally. Remember, a gun is the gift that keeps on giving!!!!

that's what made me decide on the 590A1 with all metal parts, im a small arms repairman and ive only had a few 590's come in for stupid stuff like bent magazine tubes and broken front sight beads.. and our guys beat the shit out of their weapons.. thanks for the help guys.
