To the engineer at Mazda who designed the brake system on the 1980 Mazda RX7, F**K YOU. There was no reason why swapping rotors and calipers needed to take 3 hours. It could've been real easy- 3 bolts. 2 on the caliper, 1 for the wheel hub. Bam bam bam. Instead, I needed to remove the steering arm, which let me tell you, 30-year-old crusty bolts on the bottom of a suspension component are not fun to remove. And there was 2 of them on each side.

At least my brakes are done. Thank you dad for use of the garage and your extensive selection of tools, and your brute strength for breaking those 4 bolts free.

Some of the older Hyundais have the rotors pressed onto the hub. Those suck too

N3VAR!

If I was going to go V8 it sure as hell wouldn't be a SBC. It would be a Big Block Mopar. Why would I swap in a motor that makes less power than stock? :goof

And damn that must suck with the Hyundai... but I'd imagine what sucks more is driving a Hyundai.
