some of you may remember my friends red 06 cummins from last years BCM GLD day. ran 12.4@110 and pushed a headgasket at 1000ft. since then it has gone under the knife again and few more upgrades were done. well its been having some trans issues. some of the culprit was it has been finding false N inbetween 1 and 2 and slamming into gear, pulling a 40k lbs sled. also has been "hanging" up in gears. pulled the trans apart and found this:headbang
ats $8,000 "built" trans + 680hp =

same idea but a different builder. (suncoast) their shafts, who ever makes them seem to be more reputable for less breakage. the shaft for my nv4500 is a hardened heat treated chromoly input and has a break it we'll buy it warranty.

At least is sounds like they dont advertise a warranty then blame it on customer error when you have issues like ATS
