Barefoot Driving......

Anyone else love doing it besides me...??? It's usually during trips while on 'vacation' but I just did it while going to pick up a Papa Murphy's pizza, of course I was wearing sandals to where they slide right off.....:)

Also, and I've been called crazy for this admitting this but I have better pedal control/feel without anything on my feet......:devil

I used to do it a lot more when I lived in dayoop than I do now. But I used to do it all the time. If it wasn't too hot out I'd go wheeling barefoot too but the floorboards got really hot on it in the summer.

I wear a 14-15 shoe so the ease of control is based on footwell room. 82-93 S10s my foot physically could not fit between the brake pedal and the center hump.

Oh, and for whatever reason my feet are pretty tough. Even with my fat butt on them i have no problem walking on crushed limestone. And yes, I often weld and use the torch barefoot. My neighbors used to make fun of me because I always wear safety glasses but I'll be torching/welding/grinding/mowing/line trimming barefoot. Pouring concrete barefoot is a bad idea though.

I usally do it if I get sun burn on my feet. Feels nice with the cold ac blowing on it. Also If I wear sandles witch is rare I kick them off because they are un comfortable driving in

I have never liked driving barefoot. Occasionally I'll kick the sandles off on a long drive, but if I'm working the pedals I have to have footwear.

I love driving without shoes on. It's something fun to do in the summer because you don't have to wear closed toed shoes...

Show me where the law says you MUST wear something on your feet to drive legally. I have asked 3 police officers about that ‘myth’ and they all look at me with a blank look only to say there's nothing against it, one told me he does it himself all the time.....
