Pretty much. I remember when we used to hang out at the turn-around (lake end) and we had the garden hose run down to the street...

The latest heard from SMPD is if your seen on Milwaukee Ave more then once Friday night you will be ticketed. There is a specific cruise route. It gets worse every year.

Well its a good thing I know which Officers are working that night :)

I'm interested. Where does the cruise start? Do you register at Stans Auto and then find out all info?

Yes, got that. Read that, even printed it - just not very clear. Looks like I'll wing it and look for all the other cars heading in that direction.

Anyone else going?

I'm sorry, didn't see you were specifically asking about the cruise. For the most part the cruise is on Milwaukee Ave. and also where ever you want it to be. However, be careful because every year the police are getting more and more strict with anything related to the cruise. Last year a friend of mine was pulled over for 'loud' exhaust and then harassed about every other aspect of his car......

This is not the first comment I have heard like this. Sounding less and less inviting. Thought it might be cool, but maybe just head right to the show. Do you still need to register at the Auto place before hand?

Now this doesn't make sence. You can drive a non registered race car thru the cruise and not get hassled. But a modified street car and they mess with you?????

Tell me about it...!!! I've been there for the last 10 years and know exactly what you're getting at, however, that's the road you choose when driving a 'hot rod'......:goof
