Selling the camaro due to being bored with it. Has 96k on it now. 3600 stall, walboro 255, k and n cold air, hooker long tubes with 3 inch y pipe into 3 inch slp 2otl exhaust. Obd 1 computer tuned. This setup went high 12's low 13's with dr's. Car runs strong. Recently just put new rear tires on it. Front tires were put on end of last year so maybe 3k on them. The only thing wrong with the car is the driver side window is messed up. it needs to be replaced but still works fine. looking to get 5500 obo if i cant sell it im trading it in. Pm me or just post in here. :thumbsup

Nic, look at a new WRX (as in 2009), non STI. You will save an assload for insurance, and it basically has the 2008 WRX STI drivetrain in it. All for $25K, which is a great deal for the performace you are getting. Plus it doesn't look as bad as the new STI's, lol.

Yeah, the new Evo's and STI's look like ass. The WRX non STI looks better than the STI:rolf

Well they are quick but they changed the suspension on them and they under steer really bad. Dont like the hatchbacks anyways. Dont really car about insurance. believe it or not i have no tickets on my record since the day i got my license. Had a minor accident almost 4 years ago. Talked to my agent about a month ago now and my insurance is going to be dropping alot in july. i only want an 05 STI.

Not a bad choice man!! I test drove one here in madison. A white 06 w/ 25k miles the dealership would not budge on their $23k
price. Ended up in the goat for $16k which to me was a hell of a car for a great price. Would suck for a winter car tho.

The previous gen Subie's really looked better, but it's hard passing up a warrenty and the same performace for not that much more money. Just say screw it and get a new SHO, it's AWD, and twin turbo!!!

Yeah, AWD with Ford's new EcoBoost 3.5 V6, 365HP/365ftlbs bone stock, and you know the aftermarket will have fun with the twin turbo's, lol. Paddle shifters are standard. You know you want it (I know I do for a daily driver), but they are pricey....

yeah being being that sho's have there "aftermarket maintenace" youll prolly have to get the cranks welded with this gen.:goof

What's funny is that although that small V8 is made fun of all the time for that issue, once the cranks ARE welded, those motors last a long time. Now those MTX trannies, not so much, lol.

Yeah, like I said, pricey. I think you would rock a Subie pretty hard though, you getting the typical blue/bronze rims, or something different? I don't think that's a bad deal for your car either! Did you try Carmax??

STi vs. Taurus is not even a comparison. On paper the Taurus might have more power but drive them both and then make up your mind. I guarantee it will be a no brainer. An STi is a serious performance car.

beags, dont get one from carmax, unless you want to pay sticker for a car. Hte only advantage they have is that they have about 200 dealerships across the country and they usually have what people are looking for...Their whole style is give the persom 1/3rd of what their car is worth, and then charge the most they can for the new car.....It is like retail sales and you dont get a good "deal".

Wait till you turn 25, Shit drops in arm fulls then! Congrats on the clean record, i would have thought you had a fubar'd record. Racing tickets are not really good in the eyes of the ins co's, i have 3 and ive been getting raped on ins since 01' and the last one hits 5 years next july.

Guess I am the only one that wasnt to happy with my Sti. Was a fun car but the looks, stiff ride and short ass gearing really got annoying. Look into a 06. I have a Cobb tuner with a custom stage 2 setup I could sell you really cheap!

Bob Giggle gave a salesperson $1500 trade value for his truck when trying to buy a new car. That salesperson went to carmax and was offered $4500 for his truck, and that was without having to buy a car from them.

just gotta have one of those limited availability type cars. They don't see too many 4th gens running through auctions.
