You can't get a virus direcly from a video, unless it asks you to download a "license" or "codec" and then you say yes and you're whisked off to the 7th layer of hell.

You most likely got an email with a link to a video, and the link was spoofed.
Always hover over links and check the REAL address that is shown in the bottom left corner of your browser window.

Yeah. I've been getting weird emails from friends with a link to a video, that seemed weird, and they said that they didn't sell me anything.

Get that crap outta here!

They need to create intelligent mail servers to make that junk go away, while at the same time disable the sender's account permanently since they are bad at email.

besides that, i know a lot of accounts have been jacked... ive been getting "links" from people that take me to a fake facebook...
