I'm having a hard time making a decision here on whether to install some arp rod bolts or leave it alone. Stock 05 ls2 shortblock with about 38k miles. Going to run a fairly mild cam 228/230 on a 114+4, tf heads and 85mm ls6 intake, I don't see this combo needing to go over 6800 rpm. There are so many different opinions and everyone is an expert at ls1tech, thought I would ask here...

Yes.

If they are torqued properly there will be no issue that requires resizing. the pencil over the crack trick works pretty well too if there is any doubt even after plastigage.

Should the bolts be removed and installed 1 at a time? Not sure what the pencil trick is. I have a tq wrench and pencils:D
