Kinda not what you're looking for but is the motor out or the gear? I know mine had both gears strip at the same time. I just rebuilt them with brass gears, I think it was cheaper too.

He needs the motor. I can get em new but its not cheap. We have been working on this a few days now. Im trying to get my boss to sell it at cost but hes not being very receptive to my asking.

both of mine have brass gears but the housing has warped and cracked stripping out a brass gear as well now.

the headlight makes that stupid grinding noise everytime I arm the alarm plus working headlights are still a good thing to have even when its dusk or raining. More light is better than none.

I thought those brass gears were strip-proof?

I cheaped out and bought the oem knock-off (plastic) replacements, and they both have already stripped with less than 3hrs of usage time! :(
