I decided to head to work for a few hours this morning (office is in Oak Creek) and once I got down to County Line Road in Germantown, 2 suicidal deer come darting out from the right.
Now, I've never been in a collision with anything before, and I'm pretty good at avoiding shit.... but come on! How the fuck am I supposed to try and miss TWO deer that are trying their best to kill themselves while I'm doing eight....err, sixty-five on the freeway!?

I stopped at the Pilgrim Rd. park and ride over by the Harley plant to assess the damages and noticed a little coolant dripping out. The radiator ended up cracking on the top where the radiator support is..... so I turned around and went home.

I guess I'll be driving a rental around for the next couple weeks. Maybe Bob Fish will have a new vette or camaro I could use....? :thumbsup

Anyways, here are the damage pics!

Nope... just one. One took up the right lane, the other had the center lane. I was IN the center lane and steered left to only take out the one, instead of splitting the two and getting damage on BOTH sides, LOL.

A nice silver fully loaded Buick LaCrosse CXS is the rental. Not too shabby...

Craigslist 6/6/09:

Missing, two light brown Great Dane's, last seen near hwy45 and County line rd..............not!

I just saw my 3rd deer in 14 yrs in a fenced quarry here on the Mennomonee river pkwy and Keefe. Somehow they jump the fence or something and end up living in there for years. Unfortunatly the quarry will be a park this year and the fence is coming down.

hopefully the ballast is ok. I have no idea if they can be damaged by a sudden jolt or shock

The camaro has been on jackstands since October........ of '07! Hopefully it's running again by the end of the week.
I probably would've been able to brake in time if I WAS driving it, though.... Trying to stop in a hurry with the bonneville's fat ass is pretty tough.

The condensation pan is great for shit like this! The oil pan was too tall to fit under the bumper.
