Tips when buying a used PS2?

Hey, I'm looking for a PS2 to use for Guitar Hero. Is there anything to pay attention to when shopping for a used one? Any particular parts break easily?

I've had problems with the inside getting really dusty and stop working.

What do they go for nowadays? I have a ps2 slim that works great if you are interested.

If you do buy a dusty one it's not *too* hard to get in there and clean it out.

Do a search on how to clean a PS2, I took mine apart once and cleaned it and it worked 10x better.

It voids the warranty though :goof

I picked up a slim silver PS2 with two memory cards, one controller, two guitars, and guitar hero III for $50. It was awesome! The guy works at a non profit organization, and is a political science grad student.
