I need it replaced. Anyone know of a person who knows these cars and can do it maybe as a side job?

Are you talking about one of the output seals?

Yes...it is leaking a good amt.

Just change it yourself. Park nose downhill with wheelchocks, pull the rear driveshaft, and yank the old seal out of the transfer case with a pair of channellocks. Then beat new seal in with whatever your favorite device is (a large socket is ideal but a plain claw hammer works too) and put it back together.

Ya was gonna say it's really an easy job.

those are super easy, if you want some help, i am a Chrysler certified technician. They take 10-15 min depending on how many beers you drink before hand.

I would do it on the side. call my cell 262 685 7251. is it the seal at the rear driveshaft or between the trans and t case?

In his earlier post he said yes to it being one of the outputs. So I'd assume it's not the trans to tcase seal. Now that would be a pita.

Joe, we can do it... If it hasn't been done yet

Jeff it was done, now it needs rear axle seals and a new input speed sensor. Let me know.
