Wood for Smoker??

I'm looking to start cooking out this weekend and am in need of some fruit woods (preferably apple) for smoking ribs. Anybody know of a local place that sells wood for smoking?

i have an apple tree we cut down last fall sitting in the front yard if you want a log of that. otherwise some ace hardwares and fleet farm should have what your looking for.. we smoke chick and fish all the time
