The SS hood wouldnt look right on a Bird, just as I think the Ram Air hood wouldnt look right in a Camaro. Do the ram air, it will really give your car that Bad Azz look... :devil

I think the 4th gen. WS6 hood looks better for a T/A. But it is meant for 4th gen body lines too, IMO.

There was a guy who made one work for his 4th gen Monte SS using a ram air T/A hood and the Monte hood(car was actually just stolen, in Florida) and while it looks good just doesn't match the body IMO.

The Camaro SS ram-air hood I am planning for my SS....so don't get it :goof . What brands are they? From carhoods.com?

These guys have no clue what style is! :goof Cowl is too damn plain. Who doesnt have a cowl? Ram Aim is the way to go!

I personaly like the clean look of the car the way it sits. The ram air hood just doesn't jive with the lines of the car, it's like you're trying to hard to make it look badass. If you were to do some kind of hood modification, go with a small cowl, like 2" or so. This is just my opinion.

b/w the two, I pick niether :( (the ram air espcially...others have correctly pointed out that they don't fit the lines for the 3rd gens, and IMO, is akin to domestic "rice" no matter the power level.)

As well, I am also in agreement with a small cowl...subtle lines are fare more handsome than bloated monstrousities. Just my opinion though...I think you would be best served getting what you want of course, regardless of anyones opinion.

The cowl may fit the body lines better but alot of Montes have the cowl so I'd like to be different. I don't want to be considered domestic rice either though! :D

If it were between those two hoods, I'd take the SS-style. The Raptor nostrils just seem a bit overdone, imo.

If it has to be one of those two I would say the ram air. I have a neighbor that has a ss hood on a fourth gen and it looks like ass.

No but for real does any one have pics of how that cowl looks on my car or a place to go see some !!P.S. steer me away from the nightmare hoods that fit like ****!!

I would also say a small cowl hood, not one of those 8 inchers you cant see over but a nice 2-3 inch.
The hood Scott (silver 350) has on his truck is the perfect size IMO

Ok i decided and i agree if it is not broke don't fix it !! I guess stock don't look bad at all.I was just going for a diffrent look is all but i guess how many cars around here look like mine?So yup thank you guys from the pain of buying a useless hood!!!!!!

Instead i will save that cash and stick it in the car some were else !!
